RIO GRANDE VALLEY – Roly Gonzalez is one of the best baseball players to wear the uniform here.
 
From 2007-08, Gonzalez stole 68 bases, the seventh-highest total in program history. Forty-six of those steals came in 2008, when Gonzalez led the nation in steals. He also had 76 hits that season, the 10^th-highest total in program history.
 
Gonzalez graduated left the Valley with his MBA and has gone on to conquer the corporate world as well.
