LUBBOCK – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley women's basketball team (0-0) kicks off the 2020-21 season when it faces Texas Tech University (0-0) on Wednesday at United Supermarkets Arena at 1 p.m.

It's the fifth matchup all-time between the Vaqueros and Red Raiders. 

This will be the first of two road games to start the season before heading to UTSA on Monday.
