RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley men's basketball team (1-1) faces the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders (1-2) as part of the South Texas Showdown, presented by Navy Army Community Credit Union, as part of a doubleheader with the women's team to kick off the Bert Ogden Arena series, presented by the City of Edinburg.
The women's game starts at 4 p.m. Doors open at 3.
