CORPUS CHRISTI – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros women's basketball team (2-2) looks for the season sweep of the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders (0-4) when they face off on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Dugan Wellness Center as part of the South Texas Showdown, presented by Navy Army Community Credit Union. 

UTRGV currently leads in the Showdown standings 6-0. The next Showdown event is a men's basketball game on Thursday, Dec. 10, in Corpus Christi.

This is UTRGV's second road game of a three-game road trip.
