RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley baseball team (3-6) kicks off a 12-game home stand with a four game series against South Dakota State (1-6) on Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 3 (doubleheader) and Sunday at 12 at UTRGV Baseball Stadium.
The weekend is full of promotions:
Friday
UTRGV Family Night
Parents and accompanied guests of current UTRGVstudents will receive specially priced $5 tickets. Current UTRGVstudents receive free admission to all UTRGVhome games with a valid student ID.
Current UTRGVfaculty and staff can get two free tickets with an employee ID.
The first 150 fans in attendance will receive orange "Our Valley Our Team" rally towels.
Raising Cane's Challenge
After every Friday home victory, fans can take home a buy one, get one free Raising Cane's box combo coupon.
Dirtiest Car in the Lot
One free car wash is be presented to the owner of the dirtiest car in the parking lot at every home game, courtesy of BlueWave Express.
Saturday
Sports Trading Card Night
Bring your trading card collection and trade with other sports fans throughout both games. The first 200 fans will receive a trading card at the entrance to the doubleheader.
Greek Night
UTRGV Fraternity and Sorority Life will close out their 2020 Greek Week during the second game, with an estimated start time of 6 p.m.
Dirtiest Car in the Lot
One free car wash is be presented to the owner of the dirtiest car in the parking lot at every home game, courtesy of BlueWave Express.
Sunday
Strike Out Hunger – Donate five non-perishable food items at every Sunday home game to receive free general admission. Donations support the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley.

Current UTRGV students get free general admission to all games with a valid UTRGV student ID.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at
UTRGVTickets.com. Fans purchasing their tickets online prior to game day can save up to $2 per ticket.
