CORPUS CHRISTI – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's basketball team (0-1) is set to face the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders (0-1) on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Dugan Wellness Center, as part of the South Texas Showdown, presented by Navy Army Community Credit Union. 

Corpus Christi currently leads in the Showdown Standings 13 to 6.
