RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Tuesday that tonight's men's basketball game against Southwestern Adventist has been canceled due to a positive COVID-19 test of Tier 1 personnel within the UTRGV men's basketball program.
 
A determination of the potential rescheduling of the contest will be made at a later date. 
 
Fans who have purchased single game tickets for tonight's game will be offered a refund or a ticket to a future game. UTRGV basketball season ticket holders will have the option to either receive a credit that is good for 2022-23 basketball season tickets or receive a refund.
