PHOENIX, Ariz. – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley women's basketball team (4-5) opens Western Athletic Conference play when it faces Grand Canyon University (11-3, 3-1 WAC) on Saturday and Sunday at GCU Arena.

Saturday's game will tip-off at 3 p.m. with Sunday's gaming tipping off at 12 p.m.
