LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The sixth-seeded University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros women's basketball team (6-13, 2-8 WAC) is set to take on the third-seeded Grand Canyon University Antelopes (16-6, 8-4 WAC) in the opening round of the Western Athletic Conference Tournament on Wednesday at 10 p.m. at the Orleans Arena.

The winner will face the winner between #2 Utah Valley and #7 Chicago State.
