Tuesday's Baseball Game Sold Out

RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Friday that Tuesday's baseball home game against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, part of the South Texas Showdown, presented by Navy Army Community Credit Union, at 6 p.m. at UTRGV Baseball Stadium is sold out.
 
UTRGV Athletics has sold all 1,175 available tickets for this game.
 
A limited number of tickets have been set aside for current UTRGV students and will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis starting at 5 p.m. on Tuesday at UTRGV Baseball Stadium. Current UTRGV students need to show a UTRGV student ID to gain admission.
 
This is UTRGV's second sellout of the season after selling out the April 6 game against Texas State.
 
UTRGV Athletics is operating with a reduced capacity due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Single-game tickets for future games can be purchased online at UTRGVTickets.com.
 
Those in attendance are required to be properly masked and observe social distancing at all times. Face masks must fit tight on the face from below the chin to above the nose and cover the nose and mouth at all times. Masks may only be removed when actively eating or drinking, which is only permitted in seats and the Ameriprise Cantina. Cash is not accepted. Only credit cards can be used to purchase items such as concessions.

UTRGV's next baseball home games after Tuesday are Friday at 6, Saturday with a doubleheader at 1, and Sunday at 12 against Seattle U.
