RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) baseball team (25-21, 16-12 WAC) plays its final home series of the season, hosting the University of Northern Colorado Bears (11-29, 7-17 WAC) on Friday with a doubleheader at 3 p.m., Saturday at 1 p.m. or later, and Sunday at 12 p.m. at UTRGV Baseball Stadium.
Game one of Friday's doubleheader is scheduled for seven innings while game two is scheduled for the full nine.
Saturday's game may start later than 1 p.m. as inclement weather is expected early in the day. A determination will be made closer to game day.
UTRGV Athletics is capping capacity at UTRGV Baseball Stadium at approximately 1,200 fans. Single-game tickets can be purchased online at

Due to commencement being held on campus on Friday and Saturday in the UTRGV Fieldhouse, fans are advised to allow extra travel time to get to the stadium as traffic is expected to be heavier than usual near the university, particularly for those coming from the east.
