RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) baseball team (22-20, 13-11 WAC) hosts the Tarleton State University Texans (19-28, 12-16 WAC) on Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday for a doubleheader at 1 p.m. and Sunday at 12 p.m. at UTRGV Baseball Stadium.
Game one of Saturday's doubleheader is scheduled for seven innings while game two is scheduled for the full nine.
UTRGV Athletics is capping capacity at UTRGV Baseball Stadium at approximately 1,200 fans. Single-game tickets can be purchased online at
UTRGVTickets.com. For more information about game day, visit

Due to commencement being held on campus on Friday in the UTRGV Fieldhouse parking lot, fans are advised to allow extra travel time to get to the stadium as traffic is expected to be heavier than usual near the university, particularly for those coming from the east.
