NEW ORLEANS – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley volleyball team opens up the 2021 season at the New Orleans Invitational on Friday at 3 p.m. vs. Alcorn State and 6 p.m. vs New Orleans at the Human Performance Center.

UTRGV was originally scheduled to play Saturday at 9 a.m. vs. Tennessee State, but due to the threat of Hurricane Ida, the schedule was changed and that match was canceled.
