RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros volleyball team (8-4) hosts the UTEP Miners (10-2) on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.
The first 250 current UTRGV students in attendance will receive wristbands at the gate that they can show to get a free fajita taco and drink in-between the second and third sets. Current UTRGV students get free admission to all home events with their student ID. Doors open at 6 p.m.
UTRGV is also running a buy one, get one free promotion. Fans purchasing tickets in advance via
UTRGVTickets.com will get one free electronic ticket sent to them via text message for every ticket purchased. Fans purchasing online after 4 p.m. on game day will be able to get their free ticket(s) at the gate by presenting their electronic ticket(s). Fans can also purchase their tickets in-person at the box office starting at 6 p.m. on game day.
