RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's basketball team (2-3) returns home to host the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders (2-4) in a South Texas Showdown, presented by Navy Army Community Credit Union, on Tuesday at 12 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse on School Day, presented by Rio Bank.

The home game against the Islanders is the first of six home games for the Vaqueros to close out 2022.
