CORPUS CHRISTI – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's basketball team (4-3) wraps up their two-game road trip when they visit the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders (2-5) on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the American Bank Center, as part of the South Texas Showdown, presented by Navy Army Community Credit Union.

The Vaqueros currently lead in the Showdown standings 19-10.
