RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros men's basketball team (6-15, 1-8 WAC) hosts the Lamar University Cardinals (2-19, 0-10 WAC) for Lew Hill Tribute Night on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.
There will be multiple tributes to the memory of Lew Hill before and during the game. Hill who coached the Vaqueros from 2016-21 before his
untimely passing on Feb. 7, 2021.
Fans who want to join us in paying tribute to Hill can to share their favorite memories. These tweets will be showed on the video board during the game.
The party starts in Schlotzsky's Vaquero Village at 5:30 p.m.
Current UTRGV students get free admission with their student IDs.
