RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's basketball team (7-8, 1-3 WAC) is set to host the Grand Canyon Lopes (12-4, 40-1 WAC) in a Western Athletic Conference game on Saturday at 4 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse to open a single-admission doubleheader. 

The UTRGV men's basketball team hosts Chicago State in a non-conference game at 6:30 p.m. 

The women's team will host UT Arlington on Jan. 19 at 6:30 p.m. in a WAC contest at Bert Ogden Arena.
