RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros volleyball team will look to bounce back Saturday when California Baptist (CBU) visits the UTRGV Fieldhouse for a Western Athletic Conference (WAC) match.
The Vaqueros (11-9, 5-2 WAC) saw their four-match win streak come to an end in a tough five-set battle Thursday night, dropping their first home match of the season. They're eager to take on the CBU Lancers (10-7, 3-3 WAC) at 2 p.m. and get back in the win column. UTRGV is tied for third in the WAC standings heading into the match, and CBU is one match back in fifth.
