STEPHENVILLE – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros volleyball team will play the final match of the first round of Western Athletic Conference (WAC) play Saturday at 1 p.m. against the Tarleton State (TSU) Texans at Wisdom Volleyball Gym.
With one match left in the first round, UTRGV (13-9, 7-2 WAC) sits in third place, two matches behind unbeaten Stephen F. Austin and two matches ahead of Abilene Christian and UT Arlington in fourth place. The Texans, with two matches left in the first round, are in ninth.
The Vaqueros have won six of their conference matches via sweep, including their last two. They are on a four-match winning streak against Tarleton State.
Fans unable to attend the match in person can watch domestically on ESPN+ or internationally on WAC International.
