RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros and Stephen F. Austin (SFA) Ladyjacks will face off in a heavyweight Western Athletic Conference (WAC) matchup Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.
The unbeaten Ladyjacks (21-3, 10-0 WAC) won the WAC Tournament last season and sit at the top of the conference standings. SFA swept the Vaqueros (14-9, 8-2 WAC) when these teams met one month ago. UTRGV, the reigning regular season champion, is in third in the WAC standings with six conference matches remaining.
The first 400 fans at this marquee match will receive a free Support Women's Sports t-shirt and students will receive free pizza while supplies lasts.
