ST. GEORGE, Utah – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros volleyball team will be competing in Utah this weekend for its final road trip of the regular season, starting with a 7 p.m. (CT) Western Athletic Conference (WAC) match Thursday against Utah Tech at Burns Arena.
UTRGV (14-11, 8-4 WAC) can secure its spot in the WAC Tournament with a win against Utah Tech (8-14, 4-8 WAC). The Vaqueros sit in third place in the team standings behind the only two teams to clinch tournament berths, Stephen F. Austin and Grand Canyon, with four conference matches remaining. UTRGV is 5-1 on the road in WAC play.
Fans unable to attend the match in person can watch domestically on ESPN+ or internationally on WAC International.
