RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros volleyball team hosts the Abilene Christian Wildcats Saturday at 2 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse in a Western Athletic Conference (WAC) match to wrap up the regular season home slate.
UTRGV (17-11, 11-4 WAC) has secured the No. 3 seed in the conference tournament, starting next week, while Abilene Christian (15-13, 6-8 WAC) is fighting to get in.
The Vaqueros have enjoyed a program record seven crowds of 1,000+ and could break the program record for total attendance with a full UTRGV Fieldhouse on Saturday. UTRGV will be honoring veterans with free admission and $6 tickets for friends and family.
