RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros men's basketball team (0-0) opens the 2023-24 season on Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse against the Southwestern Adventist University Knights (1-1).
Freshman Mixer • Free Food for UTRGV Students • Volleyball Season Ticket Holder Appreciation Night
•Free food for the first 300 UTRGV students.
•Pregame freshman mixer in Schlotzsky's Vaquero Village starting at 5 p.m.
•The first 500 freshmen get free Class of 2027 buttons.
•Complimentary admission for UTRGV volleyball season ticket holders.
•Payne Band to Perform in Schlotzsky's Vaquero Village before the game.

Current UTRGV students receive free general admission with their student ID.
All fans need to follow the clear bag policy, details of which can be found at

V Club donors at the MVP level or above can take advantage of
priority parking.
The party starts in Schlotzsky's Vaquero Village at 5 p.m.
