CORPUS CHRISTI – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's basketball team (0-7, 0-2 WAC) is set to face the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders (3-4) on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the American Bank Center in their first matchup of the South Texas Showdown, presented by Rally Credit Union. 

The Vaqueros will then come back home on Dec. 14 to host the Islanders at 6:30 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.
