RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's basketball team (8-14, 2-9 WAC) is back at home to host the Abilene Christian Wildcats (11-12, 5-7 WAC) as part of a single-admission homecoming doubleheader on Saturday at 4 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.
UTRGV men's basketball hosts Stephen F. Austin at 6:30 p.m.
The party starts in Schlotzsky's Vaquero Village with games, music, face painting and more to celebrate UTRGV spirit, pride, and tradition at 2 p.m.
There will be a meet and greet for UTRGV football season tickets holders with head coach
Travis Bush in Schlotzsky'sVaquero Village between games.
The Battle of the Colleges free throw competition takes place at halftime of the men's game while doubleheader attendance will count toward the attendance trophy.
UTRGV football season ticket deposits are currently being accepted and tickets for the doubleheader are on sale now at
UTRGVTickets.com.
