SAN ANTONIO – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros volleyball team is making its first Southland Conference (SLC) road trip of the season and kicking things off with a 6 p.m. Thursday match against Incarnate Word (UIW) at the McDermott Center in San Antonio. 

The Vaqueros (4-7, 0-1 SLC ) and UIW Cardinals (7-5, 0-2 SLC) are both searching for their first conference win. UTRGV has won five in a row against UIW.
