RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) will head to Houston this weekend for their first road trip of the season.
The Vaqueros will face a trio of teams in the hosting St. Thomas, McMurray, and Southwestern in the Celts Classic on Friday.
On Saturday, the Vaqueros will take on St. Thomas and McMurray in the Celt Classic.
Both meets will take place at Rice University's Aquatics Center Natatorium with Friday's meet starting at 4 p.m. and Saturday's meet starting at 11 a.m.
The Vaqueros had their first taste of competition at UTRGV's first meet in NCAA DI history on Oct. 12. The Vaqueros earned several wins including a sweep of the diving competitions.
The meet will follow a rolling schedule with the women competing before the men for every event.
