AUSTIN – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's basketball team is taking on the #5 Texas Longhorns Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Moody Center in the final non-conference game of the 2024-25 season. 

The Vaqueros (6-6, 1-1 Southland Conference) are chasing their first victory ever against the Longhorns (12-1, 0-0 Southeastern Conference) in the last game of the calendar year. UTRGV comes into this one after two solid wins to close an eight-game homestand which saw the Vaqueros go 5-3 to improve to .500 on the season. Fans unable to attend the game can watch domestically via the SEC Network or listen live on TexasSports.com/audio.
