RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros men's basketball team (4-3) opens Southland Conference (SLC) play when they host the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks (5-3) on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.
Fans are encouraged to bring in a stuffed animal or teddy bear to throw onto the court at halftime. All stuffed animals will be donated to Driscoll and distributed to kids in the hospital during the holidays. There will be free Wing Barn, while supplies last, for current UTRGV students. Current UTRGV students get free admission to the game with their student ID and can get $5 tickets for guests that aren't currently UTRGV students by clicking on the link sent to their UTRGV email addresses.

V Club donors at the MVP level or above can take advantage of
priority parking.
The party starts in Schlotzsky's Vaquero Village at 5:30 p.m.
