RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros baseball team opens the 2024 season with a four-game series against the Rhode Island Rams on Friday at 6:30 p.m., Saturday at 1 p.m., Sunday at 12 p.m. and Monday at 6:30 p.m. at UTRGV Baseball Stadium.

Friday, Feb. 16, 6:30 p.m. vs. Rhode Island

•The Cane's Challenge rewards fans when the Vaqueros win on Friday nights with a buy one, get one free coupon for a box combo at Raising Cane's.

Saturday, Feb. 17, 1 p.m. vs. Rhode Island
Baseball/Basketball Bundle
•Fans that purchase a ticket to this game will receive free admission to the men's basketball game vs. UT Arlington at 6:30 p.m. or vice versa.
 
Sunday, Feb. 18, 12 p.m. vs. Rhode Island
Family Fun Day: 4 for $44
•Includes four general admission tickets, four drinks, and four hot dogs for $44.

Monday, Feb. 19, 6:30 p.m. vs. Rhode Island
Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night
•Free admission for current UTRGV faculty & staff with an employee ID.
 
All Games
Current UTRGV students receive free general admission with their student ID.

V Club donors at the MVP level or above can take advantage of priority parking.

Gates open one hour before first pitch.

If a Vaquero hits a home run, all fans in attendance receive coupons for a free blizzard from Dairy Queen.
