MESA, Ariz. – No. 7 The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros baseball team (28-23) faces the No. 3 Utah Valley University Wolverines (28-27) in the second round of the Western Athletic Conference Tournament on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Hohokam Stadium, the spring training home of the Oakland A's.
The winner advances to face No. 2 Abilene Christian in the quarterfinals on Thursday at 11 a.m.
The loser plays in an elimination game on Thursday at 9 p.m. against the loser of Thursday's 2 p.m. game between No. 1 Grand Canyon and the winner of Wednesday's 6 p.m. game between No. 4 California Baptist and No. 5 Tarleton State.
