MESA, Ariz. – No. 7 The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros baseball team (28-24) will face the  No. 1 Grand Canyon (34-21) in an elimination game as part of the Western Athletic Conference Tournament on Thursday at 10:45 p.m. at Hohokam Stadium, the spring training home of the Oakland A's.

The winner advances to face No. 4 California Baptist on Friday at 5 p.m.
