RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros volleyball team is back at the UTRGV Fieldhouse this weekend to begin its first Southland Conference (SLC) season.
The Vaqueros (4-6) are hosting the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks (9-5, 1-0 SLC) at 2 p.m. Saturday. UTRGV is looking to snap a four-match losing skid, while the Ladyjacks are riding a four-match winning streak and picked up a 3-1 win in their SLC opener Thursday against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The match can be watched domestically on ESPN+ and internationally on Southland International. A clear bag policy is in place for all UTRGV facilities that all fans must follow.
