CORPUS CHRISTI – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros men's basketball team (10-5, 2-1 SLC) is set to visit the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders (10-6, 3-1 SLC) on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at the American Bank Center as part of the South Texas Showdown, presented by Rally Credit Union.
The game wraps up UTRGV's three-game road trip as the Vaqueros return home on Monday to host East Texas A&M.
The Islanders currently lead in the Showdown standings 13-4.
