SAN ANTONIO – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's basketball team is riding a three-game winning streak into its next Southland Conference (SLC) game Thursday at 6:30 p.m. against the Incarnate Word (UIW) Cardinals at the McDermott Center.
The Vaqueros (9-8, 4-2 SLC) are slowly climbing up the conference standings and looking to avenge last season's non-conference loss in San Antonio to the Cardinals (8-7, 3-3 SLC). UTRGV holds a 13-2 all-time record against Incarnate Word and is looking to match its longest winning streak since 2018 with a win.
Fans unable to attend the game can watch domestically via
ESPN+.
