NATCHITOCHES, La. – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's basketball team is back on the road for a Thursday Southland Conference (SLC) game at Northwestern State.
The Vaqueros (10-11, 5-5 SLC) and the Demons (8-10, 5-4 SLC) will face off at 6:30 p.m. at Prather Coliseum. It'll be the first game between the two programs since 2012. It'll also be the first time UTRGV head coach
Lane Lord and Northwestern State head coach
Anna Nimz, a former student-athlete, graduate assistant and UTRGV associate head coach for Lord, will coach against each other in an official capacity.
Fans unable to attend the game can watch domestically via
ESPN+.
