NACOGDOCHES, Texas – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's basketball team begins a three-game road stretch Monday with a 6 p.m. Southland Conference (SLC) contest at Stephen F. Austin's William R. Johnson Coliseum.
The Vaqueros (3-5, 0-1 SLC) are looking to snap a four-game losing skid as they take on the Ladyjacks (6-2, 0-0 SLC) in SFA's first conference game of the season. The home team has won the last five games in this head-to-head series but UTRGV has played SFA, the 2025 SLC Tournament Champions, tight in recent matchups.
