MALIBU, Calif. – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's basketball team will play its third game in four days Thursday at 6 p.m. (CT) as it takes on the South Dakota (USD) Coyotes at the Malibu Classic, hosted by Pepperdine at Firestone Fieldhouse.
UTRGV (4-6, 1-1 Southland Conference) and South Dakota (8-4, 0-0 Summit League) have played each other four times, splitting all games. The Coyotes have won the last two meetings, but these teams have not played each other since 2011.
