RIO GRANDE VALLEY – Due to unplayable field conditions caused by inclement weather, game one of Saturday's baseball doubleheader between The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) and North Dakota State at UTRGV Baseball Stadium is being canceled and will not be made up.
 
UTRGV and North Dakota State will try to play a single game Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
 
The canceled game was scheduled to start at 3 p.m. after initially being postponed from Friday at 6:30 p.m. due to inclement weather.
 
Fans with tickets for Saturday's game can still use them for the 6:30 p.m. game
 
Saturday's promotion is Educators Appreciation Night. All Pre-K through grade 12 teachers receive free general admission with a school ID.
 
Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
