BEAUMONT – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's basketball team is set to play the Lamar Cardinals Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Neches Federal Credit Union Arena in Beaumont.
The Vaqueros (11-13, 6-7 Southland Conference) are looking for their first win against the Cardinals (15-6, 10-2 SLC) since 1997. When these teams faced off in the first round of conference play, Lamar captured a 69-44 victory in Edinburg.
Fans unable to attend the game can watch domestically via
ESPN+.
