CORPUS CHRISTI – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros baseball team (17-7, 10-2 SLC) visits the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders (9-18, 1-8 SLC) for a three-game Southland Conference series Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m., and Sunday at 1 p.m. at Chapman Field that is also part of the South Texas Showdown, presented by Rally Credit Union.
UPDATE (3/28, 2:25 p.m.): Due to unplayable field conditions caused by inclement weather, Friday's game has been postponed. The Vaqueros and Islanders will play a doubleheader Saturday at 2 p.m.
