RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) swimming & diving program unveiled the complete 2025-26 schedule on Wednesday, featuring two regular season home meets at the City of Pharr-PSJA Natatorium.
UTRGV will host a tri-meet featuring Incarnate Word (UIW) and Jamestown on Oct. 18 and New Mexico State (NMSU) on Jan. 10. Along with UTRGV, UIW and NMSU are also members of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF).
All regular season home meets are free for the public. Fans are required to download the UTRGV Swimming & Diving Pass for admission. Fans can register for the UTRGV Swimming & Diving Pass at

In addition, UTRGV will host the MPSF Swimming & Diving Championships from Feb. 25-28 at the City of Pharr-PSJA Natatorium.

Betsy Graham said. "We have several dual meets with MPSF teams, and we have made significant strides in many events this offseason. Our schedule will give us a look at where we can improve as we enter the conference championships in February."
UTRGV will also host their annual Orange and Gray Intrasquad Meet on Sept. 26 and Pentathlon on Sept. 27, prior to the beginning of the regular season.
The Vaqueros will open the season on the road as they face UT Permian Basin in Midland on Oct. 11.
After their dual meet against UIW, UTRGV will head to Houston to take on Rice and St. Thomas from Oct. 24-25.
The Vaqueros will then head to the sunshine state when they visit West Florida on Nov. 1 before visiting Bowling Green from Nov. 14-15.
In their final meets of the fall, the divers will head to Flagstaff, Ariz. to compete in the NAU Diving Invite hosted by Northern Arizona from Nov. 20-22. Meanwhile, the swimmers will head to Boise, Idaho to compete in an invite hosted by the University of Idaho for the second-straight year from Nov. 21-23.
UTRGV will open the spring portion of their schedule with their home meet against NMSU before heading to Denton to face North Texas from Jan. 23-24.
The Vaqueros will then visit Little Rock for a dual meet against the Trojans on Jan. 30 before concluding the regular season against fellow MPSF member Northern Colorado on Feb. 6.
The Vaqueros will return home for the MPSF Swimming & Diving Championships from Feb. 25-28.
