HOUSTON – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's basketball team begins a back-to-back against the Houston Christian University (HCU) Huskies Saturday at 1 p.m. in a Southland Conference (SLC) game at Sharp Gym.
The Vaqueros (10-9, 7-3 SLC) and Huskies (5-12, 3-7 SLC) split the season series in 2024-25, with the home team winning both games. UTRGV has been great on the road so far in conference play, holding a 4-1 record at Southland venues. These teams will face each other again Thursday at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.
