CORPUS CHRISTI – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros men's basketball team (9-11, 5-6 SLC) visits the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders (11-9, 7-4 SLC) on Monday at 7 p.m. at the Hilliard Center as part of the South Texas Showdown, presented by Rally Credit Union.
UTRGV currently leads in the showdown standings 13-11 with the next match up coming on Feb. 17-18 at a women's golf tournament in Corpus Christi.
The Vaqueros will next be in action on Jan. 31 when they visit UIW.
