RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Wednesday the inaugural Orange & Gray Day – an opportunity for groups of at least 20 to tour UTRGV Athletics facilities and attend a sporting event – will take place on Jan. 29.
 
For $6 per individual, groups will be able to take tours of Robert & Janet Vackar Stadium, the Vaqueros Performance Center, UTRGV Baseball Stadium, the UTRGV Soccer and Track & Field Complex, and the UTRGV Fieldhouse starting at 2 p.m., purchase gear at the team stores at Vackar Stadium and the UTRGV Fieldhouse, and attend the women's basketball game vs. Houston Christian University at 6:30 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.
 
Groups interested in taking part in the inaugural Orange & Gray Day can reserve their group by contacting assistant director of ticket sales and operations Dan Keefe at daniel.keefe@utrgv.edu.
 
Groups are responsible for their own transportation between facilities. All groups will receive their itineraries in advance and have a designated point of contact from the UTRGV Athletics staff.
 
Limited space is available and groups will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
