RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's basketball team is beginning its three-game homestand to wrap up the regular season Thursday with a 12 p.m. School Day game, presented by Whataburger, against the Northwestern State Lady Demons at the UTRGV Fieldhouse. 

The Vaqueros (17-11, 14-5 SLC) are hosting Northwestern State (14-13, 11-8 SLC) for the first time in Edinburg. UTRGV is looking to lock-up a top 4 seed and a bye for the SLC Championships with a win. 

Fans can purchase tickets at UTRGVTickets.com. Current UTRGV students receive free general admission with their student ID but will need to claim a ticket at GoUTRGV.com/StudentTickets.
