Baseball Kicks Off 5-Game Homestand Tuesday & Wednesday vs. Texas Southern

RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros baseball team (3-8) hosts the Texas Southern Tigers (5-4) on Tuesday and Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at UTRGV Baseball Stadium to start a five game homestand.

Tuesday, March 3, 6:30 p.m. vs. Texas Southern
$2 Tuesday, presented by Church's Texas Chicken • Trivia Tuesday (Y2K)
•General admission tickets are $2.
•Select concession items will be available for $2 or less.
•The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive bucket hats, courtesy of Church's Texas Chicken
•Join us in playing trivia related to Y2K between innings.
 
Wednesday, March 4, 6:30 p.m. vs. Texas Southern
Western Wednesday, presented by F&P Brands
•Enjoy western music throughout the game.
•The first 50 fans in attendance will receive free Schlotzsky's for a year.

All Games
Current UTRGV students receive free general admission with a digital ticket that can be acquired at GoUTRGV.com/StudentTickets and their student ID. New for this year – there is a dedicated student entrance up the third baseline accessible from the sidewalk next to Sugar Rd.

All fans need to follow the clear bag policy, details of which can be found, along with everything you need to know about game day such as stadium maps, at RallyTheValley.com.

Gates open one hour before first pitch.

If a Vaquero hits a home run, all fans in attendance receive coupons for a free blizzard with the purchase of any menu item from Dairy Queen.
