RIO GRANDE VALLEY – Single-match tickets for The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros volleyball 2026 season went on sale Wednesday, and themes for home matches were announced. 
 
Fans can purchase single-match tickets online at UTRGVTickets.com at the following prices: 
Adults: $11 
Seniors/Faculty and staff: $10 
Youth: $8 
 
Walk-up sales at the box office on match day will go up by $1 per ticket: 
Adults: $12 
Seniors/Faculty and staff: $11 
Youth: $9 
 
Season tickets are on sale for $55 and multi-sport passes are also available for purchase to guarantee seats at all volleyball, basketball, and baseball home contests. Fans can purchase tickets at UTRGVTickets.com or by contacting the UTRGV Ticket Office over the phone at (956) 665-8849 or via email at tickets@utrgv.edu. Groups of 10 or more can contact assistant director of ticket sales and operations Dan Keefe at (956) 665-2327 for special group pricing. 
 
The home opener is set for Sept. 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse. The match will be an Orange Out and fans are encouraged to show their Vaqueros spirit with orange attire as UTRGV battles Texas Southern. 
 
The Vaqueros will play their fourth annual School Day match, presented by Whataburger, on Oct. 1 at 12 p.m. against UIW. UTRGV is 3-0 with three consecutive sweeps so far on School Day, riding the energy of the rowdy crowd made up of school groups from across the Rio Grande Valley. 
 
On Oct. 15, the Vaqueros will host a Breast Cancer Awareness match as they take on a Southland Conference championship rematch against Stephen F. Austin. Fans are encouraged to wear pink and honor those who have and are battling breast cancer. Dads & Daughters Day, presented by Driscoll Children's Hospital, will be on Oct. 17 for a match against Lamar. 
 
The South Texas Showdown, presented by Rally Credit Union, returns to the UTRGV Fieldhouse on Oct. 31 as UTRGV takes on rival Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The Vaqueros swept the 2025 season series against the Islanders to help secure the South Texas Showdown trophy. The Halloween match will also be Kills & Thrills themed. Fans are encouraged to wear costumes and make the UTRGV Fieldhouse a scary place for the Islanders. 
 
UTRGV's Nov. 5 match against East Texas A&M will be Veterans Night and Senior Night. Before the match, graduating Vaqueros will be recognized. UTRGV Athletics will donate 100 tickets to VetTix that will be available for active/retired servicepeople to claim through VetTix.org for the match. 
 
The final home match of the season is on Nov. 7 against Northwestern State and will be a Support Women's Sports match.
