PENSACOLA, Fla. – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros men's soccer team spoiled the University of West Florida (UWF) Argonauts Kickoff to DI night with a thrilling 3-2 win at Brosnahan Soccer Complex Thursday.

th minute, sophomore Florida International transfer
Emmanuel Gore Bi scored his first career goal, a shot that went right down the middle to knot the match at 2-2.
Junior
Malang Mandiang knocked in the game-winner for the Vaqueros (1-0-0) in the 79
th minute off a nice feed from sophomore Floridian
Sammy Jadid, who notched his first career assist.
The Argonauts (0-1-0) took a 1-0 lead on a goal from
Tobias Gjesdahl before senior
Mouhamed Pouye scored the equalizer, a well-hit shot that found the back right corner of the net in the 29th minute.
Adrian Rodriguez answered for UWF to give the Argonauts a 2-1 lead heading into halftime.
The Vaqueros will look to defend the UTRGV Soccer and Track & Field Complex in their home opener against Stetson Sunday at 10 a.m.
